On Friday May the 11th, my friend and I decided to catch up and treat
ourselves.
I called the spa a day ahead to take an appointment because they have
around 4-7 seats only, they called me on Friday to confirm my appointment.
We went to Alraya mall as their parking is always available and rarely full,
which I give it (1 point), the spa was hidden in a corner on the second
floor, but it also provides privacy, which I give (0.5 point). We entered 10
minutes earlier and they greeted us with a warm welcome, we chose the nail
polishes that we wanted to use from a collection of different brands of nail polishes and sat, I rate punctuality (1 point), and hospitality (1 point).
We waited around 10 minutes to be served, but they asked us to choose a drink while we waited.
I looked around the salon which
had a tanning booth, massage area and other services, so it wasn't only a nail
spa. They had a small variety of treatments, I chose the basic meni and pedi,
and my friend chose the cool it pedi treatment, which they use 2 masks and a
lotion to make your feet very cold to avoid the summer heat. I rate variety (1 point).
Even though the place was really small it felt cosy and not very tight, although if it was a bit crowded there will be only 2 seats available for people waiting, so I rate it (0.5). When the manicurist came with her cart she opened a new pack of nail kit, and I rate hygiene (1 point), and I rate the manicurist's attitude (1 point) because everyone there was so nice and fun to be around with.
The basic meni & pedi is average price and the cool it pedi was a bit expensive comparing to other pedis but worth making in the summer to fight the heat. That means I rate the price (1 point).
My overall rating for Nail it spa is 8/10, I went there several times actually and I would really like it if they enhanced their pedi because the manicurist aren't good at it, the hair masks were amazing and definitely will go again because it feels like visiting a friends house not being in a salon, plus they have loyalty cards for the treatments that you make.
